On Sunday afternoon, Manchester United came from 2-0 down to pick up a draw with rivals Manchester City in front of 31,465 fans at Old Trafford. A point with huge importance as this secures a top-three finish and UWCL qualification for next season for Marc Skinner’s side.

United have set out the target of winning the WSL by 2028, and while the team go into the final game of the season 13 points off leaders Chelsea, is this top-three finish a crucial step in turning that target into a reality?
