The best and highest-rated women’s footballers on Ultimate Team
Who are the best women's footballers to unpack on Ultimate Team?
EA Sports FC 26’s Ultimate Team game mode is crammed with world-class women’s footballers to enjoy.
While Barcelona trio Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas and Caroline Graham Hansen’s base ratings are the three highest in the game, EAFC 26’s emphasis on pace, dribbling and agility means some lower-rated superstars play better on the pitch.
Many of the women included excel due to their slighter frames and explosiveness on the ball; meta gameplay elements for this season’s title.
With that in mind, it’s important to differentiate between the highest-rated and the best, as they are slightly different rankings and will impact who you should consider for your squad.

Who are the best women’s footballers to play with on Ultimate Team?
Claudia Pina (LW, Barcelona) - 86
It’s not hyperbole to say Claudia Pina is one of the best EA FC cards of all-time. Many have written their names into FIFA folklore over the years (Victor Ibarbo, Seydou Doumbia and Jack Butland: I see you), but Pina could be classed as the first essential pick of the EA FC era.
The Spanish winger has a combination of stats and PlayStyles that combine to far outweigh the base numbers. Her small frame makes her difficult to stop when on the ball, extremely incisive, and lethal in front of goal. As such, many players will move her to striker in-game to get her in vital positions more often.
Even Pina’s base version will go down in folklore. The fact she’s affordable at around 4,300 coins only adds to her legend.
Alexia Putellas (CM, Barcelona) - 91
Veterans of the series will know how Ruud Gullit’s all-round stats have made him an (often unaffordable) game-changer in recent years. Alexia Putellas is built in the same mould; brilliant on the ball, strong and capable of contributing all over the pitch.
Putellas can fulfil a number of roles in central or attacking midfield, particularly if you determine her chemistry style through an Engine, Hunter or Catalyst consumable, depending on how you want to boost her pace, passing and other stats.
Aitana Bonmatí (CM, Barcelona) - 91
You can’t have Putellas without Bonmatí. Barca and Spain fans will feel this, but the pairing is also one you should consider due to their excellent chemistry links in EA FC 26. That’s before you even consider Bonmatí’s sublime individual quality.
While there are small differences in the pair’s stats, Bonmatí functions fairly similarly due to her high agility, passing and attacking movement. She’s a better defensive midfielder in-game than the only other woman to win the Ballon d'Or in the last five years, though, largely due to superior tackling and awareness when snuffing out danger.
Bonmatí’s lower stamina does also mean you should consider keeping her to less of a free role if you want her to see out the full 90 minutes.
Sophia Wilson (ST, Portland Thorns) - 88
Sophia Wilson ticks every single box of what makes a top-tier striker on EAFC 26. Ridiculous pace? Check. Elite agility? Check. Finishing in the 90s? Check. Don’t forget that five-star weak foot, or the combo of Low Driven Shot and Finesse Shot PlayStyles.
Wilson has been dynamite since women were added to Ultimate Team mode in September 2023 and is quite simply the archetypal ‘scary’ forward to come up against. She doesn’t cost a ton, either, making her a common opponent in competitive play.
Trinity Rodman (RM, Washington Spirit) - 85
Trinity Rodman with a Finisher chemistry style card applied is one of the most devastating combos available this year.
Like Wilson, she’s got the natural speed and athleticism to be a problem even without any additions. But apply extra finishing ability and there’s a lethality that sees a lot of players move her away from the right wing and into a more central role.
