The mood changes quickly in a major-tournament camp.

Within the space of a few days England have gone from potentially being dumped out of the Euros to now returning to a 19% probability of winning the whole competition, according to Opta.

The 4-0 victory over the Netherlands ensured the Lionesses were back in the driving seat for progressing out of Group D.

A win against Wales tonight will guarantee a place in the quarter-finals.

There was plenty in England’s 4-0 performance against the Netherlands that proved many doubters and worriers wrong. Sarina Wiegman’s side not only dominated their poor opposition in every single on-pitch metric, but they tapped into the winning mentality that had been missing in recent months.
