Results
Germany 1 Sweden 4
In a decisive clash for top spot in Group C, Germany struck first through Jule Brand, but what followed was a Swedish masterclass and a German unraveling. Stina Blackstenius scored the equaliser to shift momentum, and then 18-year-old Smilla Holmberg put Sweden into the lead.
It all fell apart for Germany when Carlotta Wamser was sent off for a handball in the box, and Germany were down to ten players. Fridolina Rolfo put away the penalty to put Sweden into a 3-1 lead. With Wamser now suspended and Giulia Gwinn already sidelined on crutches, Germany find themselves in a real defensive crisis heading into the quarter-finals. Lina Hurtig calmly scored the fourth and final goal for Sweden in the 80th minute, rounding off a superb performance.

Poland 3 Denmark 2
While neither team was in contention for a quarter-final spot, Poland and Denmark still delivered a spirited match. Poland scored two goals within the opening 20 minutes, from Natalia Padilla-Bidas and Ewa Pajor. Denmark clawed their way back through Janni Thomsen and Signe Bruun, but Martyna Wiankowska sealed the 3-2 win for Poland with a second-half strike. It was a momentous day for Polish women all around, as tennis player Iga Swiatek won her first Wimbledon title just hours before Poland’s footballers ended their campaign on a high.
