What to watch
It’s a rematch that’s been brewing for two years. England are aiming to avenge their loss to Spain in the 2023 World Cup final and claim back-to-back European titles. These two sides know each other extremely well; they have already faced off twice this year in the UEFA Nations League, with each side winning once.
Spain’s starting XI is composed of eight Barcelona players, many of whom were part of the squad that knocked Chelsea out of this year’s Champions League semi-final – before falling to Arsenal in the final. On the flip side, England’s lineup features key players from Chelsea and Arsenal, with Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh bringing their own inside knowledge from their time at Barcelona. Expect physical battles and plenty of familiar matchups on the pitch.
Both teams have shown vulnerability in defence throughout the tournament, so this final could be down to how the attackers can exploit the gaps and take advantage of their opportunities.

Team news
England’s Lauren James was subbed off at half-time in their semi-final with what looks like an ankle injury. Yesterday, Sarina Wiegman said that “she’s still recovering. She’s doing things on the pitch and we have two more days so we’re going to give her time. I don’t know yet [if she’ll be ready].”
The big question that looms over Wiegman’s lineup: will Michelle Agyemang and Chloe Kelly start? They have been superb super-subs, but could their impact be even greater from kick-off?
It is all to play for, so make sure to tune in for the final tomorrow!

The WAFCON 2024 final takes place in Rabat, Morocco today. The hosts take on nine-time champions Nigeria in the final. It’s back-to-back appearances for Morocco, who will be looking to claim a first-ever WAFCON title.
They’ll need to try and overcome the almighty Super Falcons who are searching for a first crown since 2018.
