England have one foot in the quarter-finals of Euro 2025 after resoundingly answering their critics by winning 4-0 in what was close to a do-or-die encounter against the Dutch. Having come up short from both a physical and technical standpoint in their opening defeat against France, a change of approach that emphasised direct play and duel-winning was the order of the day in the battle of the Lionesses, and it worked a treat.
