How to watch England’s Euro 2025 showdown with Wales
Kick-off time, broadcaster and key team news
England are in need of a positive result against Wales on Sunday (13 July) if they are to secure safe passage to the quarter-finals of Euro 2025.
A draw may not be enough, with the Netherlands facing France on the same night, but a win will put their fate firmly in their own hands.
Their journey so far has very much been a tale of two halves – an opening game defeat to France before roaring back to life in a thumping victory over the Dutch.
Wales will present a unique clash, with the home nation side participating in their first-ever major tournament.
Much to the delight of the Lionesses, they have never lost a game against the Welsh.
Sunday will mark just the 11th meeting between the two sides, of which England have registered nine wins while one draw was contested.
It will be the first fixture between these familiar foes that Sarina Wiegman has overseen since the start of her tenure in 2021, although she was in the Netherlands dugout when they beat Wales 5-0 ahead of Euro 2017.
Despite such a positive history, no side can ever be discounted when it comes to tournament football, least of all a team desperate to register a first win.
Rhian Wilkinson’s side have been on the end of two defeats, losing 3-0 and 4-1 to the Dutch and French, respectively.
While Jess Fishlock’s goal in their last outing marked history – their first in European history – they’ll be eager to add an inaugural win to their ranks.
One thing is for sure: there will be no love lost between these two rivals come the weekend…
