Katie McCabe has become one of the most recognisable faces in the WSL. The Irish international’s technical ability, personality and trademark intensity has made her a fan favourite among not just Arsenal fans but fans all around the world.

Never far away from featuring in a highlight package of some of the league’s greatest moments, McCabe is one of Arsenal’s longest-serving players. Only Kim Little and Leah Williamson have been part of the first team longer than McCabe.

On Sunday, the left-back will turn 30 as Arsenal head to face Manchester United in their toughest test of the season so far. It’s a special moment for McCabe who joined Arsenal from Shelbourne in Ireland nearly 10 years ago.

The last decade has flown by, according to McCabe, who is speaking to The Cutback after delivering a football session in north London alongside some of Arsenal’s community coaches and Cadbury, for whom she is a brand ambassador.
