After finishing well off the pace for Uefa Women’s Champions League qualification in the 2023-24 season, Manchester United entered this campaign with renewed urgency. Determined to take a step forward under Marc Skinner, the club made targeted reinforcements over the summer and focused on building a more consistent league performance.
So far, that strategy appears to be paying off. United are currently on track for a top-three finish and their second qualification for the Champions League. Despite this progress, the season hasn’t been without setbacks. Costly slip-ups against West Ham, Aston Villa and fierce rivals Liverpool, have raised broader questions about the team’s overall performance and consistency.
