The pair are speaking to the media at St George’s Park alongside all of their teammates as England prepare for Euro 2025 this summer.

Since joining the Lionesses as head coach in September 2021, Wiegman has been celebrated for her unique personality. Frank and direct, she’s never been one to mince her words, whether she’s speaking to journalists or to her players.

With English football used to head coaches playing politics with their answers, Wiegman has been a breath of fresh air in her bluntness.

But in recent weeks, we saw for the first time whether the last four years of that had potentially impacted her squad.
