Back to square one for Spurs as Robert Vilahamn exits after two years in charge
The Swedish coach has been sacked after Tottenham Hotspur finished second bottom of the WSL
Once again Tottenham Hotspur Women, just like their men’s team, are without a manager. Two years ago, the sacking of Rehanne Skinner happened before the season’s end. This year, it took a month after the end of the WSL season to see Robert Vilahamn depart. The in-sync managerial cycle perhaps the most obvious indication that it is #OneClub.
There are plenty of arguments about whether Ange Postecoglou deserved to be sacked, but when it comes to Vilahamn’s exit there are very few disagreeing with the decision.
