They're tipped to progress deep into the tournament but each of these four teams have their own problems to overcome
The 14th edition of the Uefa Women’s Euro is right around the corner. The quest for European bragging rights begins in Thun on 2 July. The teams are set, and so is the stage ahead of the headlining event of the summer.
A lot of questions surround the contenders entering the tournament. Can England 2.0 defend their title? Can Spain win a consecutive major tournament? Can Germany win their ninth European crown? Can Sweden rewrite history?
So let’s take a look at some of the contenders, what makes or breaks them and some secret superstars from their squads ahead of the curtain raiser between Iceland and Finland on Wednesday.
